1. Golden means made of, or relating to gold. 2. The word beryl – Middle English: beril – is borrowed, via Old French: beryl and Latin: beryllus, from Ancient Greek βήρυλλος bḗryllos, which referred to a ’precious blue-green color-of-sea-water stone’;[2] from Prakrit veruḷiya, veḷuriya ’beryl’[8][a] which is ultimately of Dravidian origin, maybe from the name of Belur or Velur, a town in Karnataka, southern India.[9] The term was later adopted for the mineral beryl more exclusively. 3. Given that N & R are like Don Quixote without Sancho Panza, or any of his misdirected nobility, and unfortunately with real badges, the natural hook here - effective no matter how unsuccessful one’s attempt is - is working on the assumption that the odd things taking place in the everyday setting are merely their
